I SPEND MY TIME DOING WHAT?

There are literally thousands of euthanizations every day - NOT A YEAR - but a day!  These are some of the babies that have I have been lucky enough to welcome into my life.

ADOPTED!!  Josh is now living with his very own mommy, brother Stashman and 2 kitties!  Home Sweet Home!  JOSH - By gosh!  Josh is an old timer in my household.  He is nine years old and underwent hip surgery before coming to live with me.  He doesn't limp and you would never know that there was ever anything wrong with him.  Josh is the perfect family companion and some day someone will come along will look further then his age.  Josh has some extremely attractive personality traits and all he lives for is to be your best buddy.  He's good with other dogs, cats, children and has no gender preferences.  Miniature Pinschers are extremely long-lived.  Some live to years beyond 18 and enjoy reasonably great health if taken care of.  If you could provide Josh with a wonderful, loving home, then please put in an application at www.minpinrescue.org.

I found a Peanut in the Abilene shelter.  Peanut was passed up by many an onlooker.  He's tiny and just full of clownish personality.  He was thin when he came to live with me, but he is now a robust little chihuahua that never fails to amuse me.  He twists and turns for attention, but is just as happy to crawl under a blanket in his crate and sleep the afternoon away.  He is not a barker and he is good with cats, and children.  Why this little boy was not snapped up from the shelter, I'll never know.  A more loving little boy, you'd be hardpressed to find.  I found a Peanut and I'm so glad I did.  almosthome@gmail.com for an application.

Hannah was adopted today! Yeah Hannah!! This is her new mommy Judy and her sweet new sister Minnie!!!  Sweet Hannah - 7 year old chihuahua, found as a stray in Abilene, Texas.  Hannah was heart worm positive and has just underwent heartworm treatment.  She will go in for her checkup next week to see if she is heartworm free.  She still needs to be spayed and have a dental done.  Hannah is extremely low key and sweet.  Her favorite thing is to be in your arms.  almosthome@gmail.com for an application

This is Marcus.  Marcus is about 9 years old and on the outside he is a beautiful little boy - the perfect miniature pinscher.  On the inside, he has been very abused.  He's had most of his teeth pulled and eats soaked kibble.  Marcus is the sweetest little boy you will ever meet, but he is not without medical needs.  He is currently on Anapryl and Science Diet Prescription BD kibble to stimulate brain function.  He will remain with me until someone comes along that can provide him with more then I can give him.

This is Paris!  When she was picked up from the shelter, we were told that she loved to be in front of a camera and therefore needed to name her after a movie star.  Do you know of anyone who loves to be in front of the camera more then the Hilton Sisters??  Paris is a 3 year old, long-haired chihuaha; very much full of herself displaying lots of personality.  She is not spayed yet and she is heartworm positive.  Paris will begin heartworm treatments in about two weeks along with Duffy.  almosthome@gmail.com  for an application

KAHLUA - Female Chihuahua found in a shelter with an eye hanging out of the socket.  Eye has been removed and she is spayed and up to date on all vaccines.  She was heart worm negative.  Kahlua is an alpha little girl that is still a puppy - 8 months old.  almosthome@gmail.com  for an application
